Exercised again today

Exercised again today; went to the gym in lunch break, only did 20 min - 30 minutes, but worked up a sweat, and a little bit is better than not doing anything, so I am happy. Now next bit of exercise is due for Wednesday...

It's all gone a little wrong

So I haven't blogged for a while, and whilst at SXSW I did not do any exercise due to the location of the hotel with no gym and no where to run, I was a bit stuck. However I did go to the gym on Thursday, and I will be going to the gym again tomorrow or going for a run, so I'm attempting to get back in it.

Then I'll be doing gym or running on Wednesday/Thursday and then again on Saturday or Sunday.

My motivation is flagging, and I've put on a lot of weight, which makes me think that I probably need to start doing the weight-watchers tracking of my points again to control how much I eat, and have an extra push to get back to exercise twice a week.

I am also considering looking into getting a personal trainer, as I need someone to help me sort out my food choices, someone to help motivate me, and someone to do exercise with.

Exercised again horrah

I forgot to write about my exercise mid week, I was feeling very demotivated, so I deferred it to Thursday, but I went out and did a 2 mile run (just a familiar route that I take). I felt great afterwards.

Then today I went for a run with my brother-in-law in Canvey, and again 2 miles, and though it wasn't a fast pace, it was a big motivational boost, and I'm looking forward to doing more exercise on Wednesday.

Exercise again

Yes, I managed to do some exercise this weekend, only 1/2 hour in the gym; cycling, walking and running, but the point is I did something, and I was really not in the mood for doing exercise, but I managed to do some. So I'm really pleased with myself, well done me.

Week 2 of Feb

So I was ill at the weekend, so did a gym session on Tuesday, and did my mid-week session on Thursday. I did a bootcamp work out for 25 minutes. Now really knackered!

First exercise of February 2013

So I have done my first bit of exercise for the first week of February. I am happy. It was a run, and with the wind up it was quite difficult at times.

Using the new Runkeeper app I monitored my pace, and I was able to stay under 10 minute mile pace! First time I have managed to do that since I started exercising again. I got to over 2 miles and thought about going for 3 miles, but because my pace was so good I decided to try and make it under 10 minute mile pace to the end, so did about 2.34 miles.

Running mid week shocker

I decided to give the mid week at lunch time run a go. And it was fine. So I've now exercised once more than I committed to in January. I think I will be able to do this twice a week thing during February. Or I hope I will be able to.

So the plan for February;

Sun 3rd & Wed 6th
Sun 10th & Wed 13th
Sun 17th & Wed 20th
Sun 24th & Wed 27th

So that is 8 exercise activities in one month. I think I can do that. It will probably be mainly running and gym, but I may try a cycle or swim in there too.
